Office Policy

Practice Hours

Our Practice hours are:

Tues   9:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Wed   1:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Alternate Sat 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM



Initial Interview (1 hr)                              $180

Regular Consultation (30 mins)            $150

Extended Consultation (1 hr)                $255


We require 24 Hours’ notice of cancellations so that your time slot can be given to other practice members requiring attention who may be on a waiting list. There is a fee for failure to provide sufficient notification of a cancellation. $20 for the first instance, 50% of the treatment fee for the second, and 100% for the third and subsequent instances.

We do not keep accounts.


Payment is to be made at the time of consultation. We accept cash, EFTPOS, cheque, mastercard and visa payments.  We also offer a HICAPS service whereby private health fund rebates are paid automatically and you only need to pay a gap fee.

For group adjusting payments must be made in advance via the website.  As we do not have any reception on these days, failure to pay before the visit will result in no treatment on the day, and your appointment will be postponed until the following month.

Please consider your clothing for treatment, generally softer clothing is easier to work with (jeans are less desirable).

Scheduling Policy

Natural Health Works does NOT adhere to a specific schedule.

We believe in preparing a schedule that meets the needs of each practice member.

Typically Chiropractic/Kinesiology treatment will need between 4 and 8 treatments over the first month.

We anticipate that the typical practice member will need the following schedule:


1-4 Weeks,1-2 Times Weekly

5-12 Weekly, Fortnightly

Ongoing, Once Monthly


Children typically need once weekly for 3-14 weeks depending on the initial treatment plan, with an ongoing check up every 1-3 months. This schedule will differ depending on whether the practice member has been in care before and whether they require more intensive care to start with.  In order to ease the process of making bookings, help the practitioner plan treatment, and give the practice member a better chance of getting the appointment times that they need, we will make the first 4-8 bookings at the end of the first appointment. Once care has commenced, we will add extra appointments or cancel those that are not required as directed by the practitioner, and with the approval of the practice member.


There is no requirement to make any number of appointments in advance.

Appointments made in advance may be canceled with more than 24 hours’ notice.

Practice Members who wish to enter care on a different schedule to this are welcome to discuss this with their practitioner.

Practice Members wishing to discontinue care will be supported in this decision, and we will do what we can to find alternative care arrangements.
